Ansel Adams biograghy

As many of us know Ansel Adams is one of Americas best known photographers, who really focuses on the black and white aspects of photography. Taking a trip to his early life beginning with the day he was born, Feb. 20 1902  he was born in  San Francisco, California two a very wealthy family. Who sooner or later fall in to a whole making life a struggle.
through all of his tragic he found that it was hard for him to fit into school they found that he could have a case of dyslexia, and hyperactive disorder. Before going to privet school he was tutored by his aunt and his father.
In his later life he found nature to be a catch of the eye for him and he later found himself playing music and the piano as another profession other then being and outstanding photographer. His first huge life changing photo was the Monolith, the Face of Half Dome was created in 1927.
Three more facts to sum up his life ....In 1927 Adams met photographer Edward Weston a  very close friend that he became and coleage aswell. In 1940 Ansel helped inspire the the New York musium of modern art. He really loved working around art and his job that he made for himself. Then he had settled in yosmite in an art studio of his own. His life ended on  April, 22nd, in 1984.
There are many reasons why I chose this picture. One was because it reallly caught my eye with the way the black and white contrast. I love that it is dark in a lot of places but then you have those really bright white spots such as the river or the ridges in the mountains. And I really find the nature photography to be amazing peices of work and his really jumped out at me. The texure is not all smooth and the details are so complex it amazes me. many of the little things such as the waves in the water or the mud and ridges of the cliffs. And the way you can't see the sun but you can see the suns light on the snow of the mountains and the cold white waters. It all around is an outstanding picture.
